    Ignorant haters of southern rap that havent heard much can stay out of here.

    I have noticed a small uprising of people in these wu forums that listen to some southern....and not Lil John etc. either.

    This thread is meant to discuss southern hip hop since there is not a big enough crowd here to start independent threads.

    Those that dont know much southern, this thread is meant to be insightful for you and perhaps will check out some stuff.

    I dont listen to very much southern rap but Outkast are one of my favorite groups, I also like Geto boys

    I fool with Outkast, Ludacris, Devin The Dude, B.G., Mannie Fresh, Juvenile, and sometimes Mystikal. Nothing against Scar, Bun, and the rest of the Dungeon Fam, they're tight but I just don't listen to them. oh yeah about Mannie Fresh, of course the main reason I dig him is the beats, don't sleep, his productions are some of the best ever in rap, listen to any record on Cash Money, seriously. peace

    outkast..goodie mobb...bubba sparxx..cee-lo...youngblodz..basically the whole dungeon family..luda and DTP..scarface....TI....Lil weezy has some of the illest mixtape freestyles I have heard in years..Dirty..Pastor Troy...8 Ball and MJG..Young Buck had the best album from the whole G-Unit in my opinion.

    if you want sick southern shit, get scarface's albums, AND Cunninlynguists, you will not be dissapointed unless you dont like HIP-HOP.

    Oh I forgot about Little Brother and the whole Justus League coming out of North Carolina.They may not rap with a thick southern accent...but they are mos def from the south.9th Wonder is an excellent producer..repping hard.
