Good Album better than I expected. GOOD NOT GREAT
Guess I'm the only one who thinks the Yuksek remix is awesome.
after first listen, uey didnt embarrass himself like he did with HSS and MrX but...
bring back god > dopium
Christianity = White Supremacy
yo this shit is heat. FIRE. HOT
i knew uey would come through. this is by far the best wu solo ive heard in at LEAST the past 5 years.
the beats are fucken bangin, the guest spots are amazing, uey comes hard just like he has since 93'.
and yo im only half way through. im on Magnum force right now and id give this a 9/10 see how the next half goes but no way would this album be under a 8/10.
Fucken Superior.
Golden arms was classic for me. this is close behind
1st remix: pretty good
2nd: not my style but i could see some folk likin it
3rd: whaaaatt the fuuuck??
superior tho.
grimey tape
The rest of the generals needs to listen to Uey what the fans want (just not the techno/dance-shit..haha)
After about 3-4 listens:
Train trussle - 8.5/10 (Scotty Wotty is kind of average.. Beat is dope, should've been a bit more up-tempo. Uey & Ghost sounds nice)
God Is Love - 10/10 (Classic Wu. God is love love God is love love)
Stomp Da Roach - 8/10 (Nice beat, but also this a bit slow.. GZA is decent, U-God is dope, Wotty is still average)
Lipton - 8.5/10 (Dope track, not the type of track you'd want to listen to when you're too high though, cus it WILL trip you the fuck out. Chorus is actually greatness )
Cocaine - 9.5/10 (Great track, banging beat, U-God & Slaine kills it, Rae would've killed it with some extra energy.)
Magnum Force - 8/10 (Dope beat, Jim Jones comes average, U-God & Sheek both goes in pretty good)
Hips - 6/10 (Weakest track so far.. Chorus is terrible, beat is decent and the lyrics is pretty good, but U-God's flow is kind of 'meh')
Wu-Tang - 9/10 (Dope beat, Method sounds nice as always and U-God is cool.. Method Man & U-God works well together.)
Dopium - 8/10 (Pretty good Uey solo, some of the vocal sample parts during the verse should've been removed)
Rims Pokin Out - 8/10 (Beat is dope, chorus is both corny as fuck and kind of enjoyable in a special Uey-kinda way...)
New Classic - 9/10 (Dope beat, U-God comes good)
Stomp Da Roach Remix - 6.5/10 (I actually kind of like this..)
Not gonna rate the bonus tracks, but both of them sucks. The Hips remix is straight up some of the worst shit I've ever heard.
83 / 100
Album is overall great, transitions works well and U-god really put his work in...

I'm the Greatest Scientifically Inclined Mind Since Einstein!!!!
Lets just say U-god picked the perfect title for this album cuz its straight Dope-ium!!! And grimey just like the album pics of Uey
I'm the Greatest Scientifically Inclined Mind Since Einstein!!!!
the remixes are a dope decision imo
the end is usually where most albums get wack and boring
2 or 3 tracks making a 180° turn from hip hop make the ending so fresh n so clean clean
WILL BE copping on tuesday after work.
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.
