i feel that in order for God to experience himself fully, all possiblities and permutations of existence must be created and explored. he has done just that.

now in order for us to be a reflection of God, we must be diverse in our thoughts, emotions, and actions.

The way is a circle. We cannot find god without having walked the circle. We must be as virtuous as we are sinful, we must be cruel and we must be merciful, we must experience all emotions, we must experience and experiment. All of these are godly. Carnal lust is as godly as penitent abstinence, we must understand that gluttony is as pure as the ascetic refusal of food. We must work hard and we must abandon work and live with nature.

But we then must make sense of it all. Once we understand how all these things can coexist and still be good we will find happiness. We will understand that it is just as good to eat fine foods as it is to fast. That is the destruction of self and the entrance of the divine. We must blow out the candle of our desires and find solace that everything is godly. It is only then that we can be like god.
