PEACE,
I just got the SP-202 so I thought I would make a beat tape with it!All beats are made only using the 202.As you know the 202 has no sequencer and only 4 note polyphony.So most of these joints are mad simple and all played out live !SP_CRATEZ.zip - 22.08MB

quotes are sick (as always), beat is tight..i can't believe the way u rock the SP machines live fam....
(only thing i don't like is the applause comes out weird sounds like loud static)

BANGER, guitar chops are sick...head-nodder, feet-tapper

beginning is mad funny, the bonghit sounds are CRAZY and this is my fav beat on the tape....beautiful piano rolls....you flip it bananas in the end too

pretty nice jam...shit sounds some grimey on that 202

SICK beat..i love the drum loop

beginning is mad trippy and this beat is ILL, my second favorite after a few listens..

To quote yourself, even tho they are "simple" they still bang hard as fuck!!! I think some of the best beats ever made are simple and its all about how you flip em and and having an ear for the perfect sounds to use. The Criminology beat is a perfect example of that, its basic as fuck but bangs like a cheap whore, then compare that to the abomination that is part II and you realise that its the the way the sounds are used rather than the actual sounds themselfs that is the defining factor in great production. So that to me is a testiment to your skill fo real!!! The fact that you banged these out on a, old as dirt machine "LIVE!!!" is just fucking crazy IMO.

I dont really have a fav yet but I think the whole tape plays through nicley as its own entity!! Mad props hommie and thanks for an other dope listen!!
