Raves=loud drumnbass/techno/hardcore in huge warehouses or smaller venues, pumping and uplifting vibes out of them 10000Watt speakersystems, the deepest subbasses, the dirtest noises, dancing beyond exhaustion, and not so much the stereotype of heavy drug use. (them pillheadz are the most irritating people on such party imo.)

here in the UK, most ravers take pills in the clubs and have done for the past 15 years or so.
speed and cocaine are also very popular with UK ravers.
