Default OB4CL II snippets on Amazon...

Finally we get a lil listen of what Rae has been cooking up...

I gotta say from the snippets, it ain't soundin' Cuban Linx-like, doesnt have a Cuban Linx feel to it, the beats sound good, but they just ain't meshing together as a whole. This is just my thought after listening to the snippets, may think totally different after hearing the whole thing.

    I've just listened...

The '10 Bricks' beat is Dilla, but its the same beat that Madlib has already rapped over, and Division and La the Darkman did a track with the same beat too! Lil disappointed about that!

    Peace!

You can tell straight away which ones are the Dre beats too, same old boring ass Dre beats!

Sounds like every other beat Dre has made in the last 10 years!

    Peace!

Black Mozart & Kiss the Ring beats sound ridiculous. I like the sound of every song, this will be a very solid effort.

Just gave the the thing a listen and my initial impression simply based on these snippets is that it sounds very disapointing. Not in a "I expected it to be better than CL" kind of way but just as an album by it self.

There were some positives though but im gonna refrain from giving a full opinion until i've heard the whole thing.

you can hear rae saying secret indictment in the beginning of the snippet. so secret indictment is now black mozart.

I think we already heard the Jihad track a while ago or maybe it was just a snippet, I forget.

Kiss the ring sounds like fire though, 10 Bricks has potential as well.

Yeah, the reused beats are disappointing for an album we've been waiting for for so long. Overall I like it, the album has a hard sound...nothing really slow other than the ODB tribute.

I'm not complaining, because you can't compare or expect to, but it's nothing like the original. Definitely one of the best Wu releases in a long time.

Good shit. Glad "Gihad" (aka Jihad/G-Hide) made it on the album, that track has a real 90s feel to it.
