gave this a spin last night at work.
i don't feel like getting into track reviews but its a solid very-consistent album.
if you an Esoteric fan then this will fit right in your collection. if not... i can't say this album will do much for changing your mind.

i liked it tho, it had a solid vibe the whole tape & a few good features.
jems for me was the 2ndhalf of the first track ".../Goodbye".
matter-o-fact the first 3 are nice tracks. Ace had a nice track. Bar thief was ill too.

i wasnt disappointed. i like their albums and think Eso knows how to rock the mic right. i'm glad it didnt go the way of Cage & Eyedea with the pseudo rock shit.
No Features was pretty ill... lol (featuring the hip hop all stars [sorta])

his voice is the only killer for me & always has been... he sounds like a hip-hop-Ray Romano but i get past it.
    solid album tho.

I liked this much MUCH better than Egoclapper. Esoteric Takes Japan was great. This one was awesome. Just what hip hop needs. Doesn't seem to be worried about being tough or having a rep. I loved the songs about his dog. The Masta Ace track is awesome too. I know a lot of people that'll be turned off by his flow/voice. To me he kinda falls into that category that Del and Aesop Rock occupy: good music that you really have to like the delivery to like the rest.

    haha, perfect description.

I don't know, does this album have any 7L production on it?

Esoteric without 7L always worries me.

beats aren't an issue with this album. this bumps on some classy abstract type shit.

7L wasn't needed, but was used for a couple of tracks..

Esoteric used his own production game for this one, and it works out very nicely.
