lol This episode was great. I don't think anyone has suffered as much from being Larrys friend than Richard Lewis. Since the series began Larry's cost him like 4 girlfriends and now just got him run over ahahahaha. I was waiting for Richard Lewis to make an appearance this season too hes been out of the roster for a while.

Jeff was conspicuously absent but they had Jerry pretty much in the Jeff Role for this episode.

i thought the conversations between larry and jerry/maureen/ richard lewis were great. and i knew what was going to happen as soon as richard lewis called and said he had a baseball bat for him. haha.

but the whole hanging onto the flab thing was fucking stupid. i don't know. i still think its better than anything on tv. maybe i am just expecting too much.

this season kind of reminds me of the last 2 seasons of seinfeld after larry david left. the shows first 7 seasons were usually about nothing. just the banter of every day life. then when larry left, weird things would happen that don't happen in every day life. (kramer finding the merv griffen set, hitting a golf ball into a whale's blow hole, etc.)

don't get me wrong, i think those last 2 seasons of seinfeld might have been the funniest, but for curb your enthusiasm, i wish they would stick with the everyday banter shit.

I forgot. But in any case his role is very diminished compared to the first few seasons. He was usually the guy Larry would shoot the shit with the most but Jeff Kinda became the prevalent "confidant" for a long stretch.
