I will be counting down the '20 greatest mustaches in sports'.
Number 20 is Patrick Ewing.
Mustache Style: Pencil thin
Patrick Ewing may be remembered as one of the greatest players in NBA history, with his 24,815 career points in 17 years, but we’ll always remember him for his pencil style mustache. After being drafted to the New York Knicks in 1985, he spent most of his career there, leaving New York for the Supersonics in 2001 then the Orlando Magic in 2001. He retired in 2002 and is currently the Magic’s assistant coach, but he still sports his trademark ‘stache.
Mustache Style: Fu Manchu
Swimmer Michael Phelps may go down in history for his record 8 gold medals at the 2008 Olympics, but he’s honored here for his attempt at a Fu Manchu style mustache. He sported some sort of a Fu Manchu mustache before the 2008 Olympic games, which was pretty ridiculous and made him look like a cross between a 70s porn star and a highway patrol officer. But, despite the fact that he couldn’t quite grow enough facial hair to fill it in, he still gets a place on the list for trying.
shit, my beard grows like an old man's armpit, it stinks, it's rubbish, lol.

As I transcend celestial deserts, in search of an oasis / vanishing dreams to lay the fundamental basis / my soul chases / opposite dimensional spaces / material world just erases / I see a thousand faces / as I look into the perpetual sea / a million children follow me / into the molecular structure of infinity.
Mustache Style: Chevron
Legendary NFL tight end Mike Ditka may not have sported a mustache during his pro career, but since his retirement has become known for his trademark thick chevron style stache. The 69-year-old was drafted to the Chicago Bears in 1961, was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in 1967 and finished his career with the Dallas Cowboys from 1969 to 1972. Ten years later he was sought out by the Chicago Bears and served as their head coach from 1982 to 1992, he then returned to the NFL as the head coach of the New Orleans Saints from 1997 to 1999. Ditka was known for his fierce demeanor on and off the field, although the incidents related to his anger issues cannot be directly linked to his thick mustache. Currently, Ditka is retired from coaching, but sometimes makes appearances as an NFL commentator.
Here is an example. This is Johhny Vanderbuilts. He enjoyed engaging in many sports including co ed naked badminton, pro wrestling, and threesome tennis. It is hard to top this stache:
