now THIS is a dope fucking album, i came through half the joint by now and shit is slamming. the opening track "Girl" felt a little out of place but it might grow on me, but the rest is FIIIYAAAH. i'ma let this one sink in a bit, definitely copping this though!

Probably his best work to date IMO. Only real thing I was disappointed by the inclusion of the 2005/2006 track "Dirty Game" even when Mega himself said that Premier was working on a new mix for it before it was to come out on the 20th...NOTHING lol, it's the exact same mix. I also would have loved to hear the RZA & Juju tracks that were cut but that's just asking for a Godly album with Wu-Tang AND Beatnuts on there. Favorite tracks are Define Yourself, Fresh X, Love Your Family, Other Side, Dirty Game, shit even Pete Rock made a good beat again on Live And Learn.

The A to the Z: Killah Priest used the same sample on either "Mind as a Weapon" or "Street Opera" (more likely). either way - classics are created around that sample!!

i ain't the least dissapointed by "Dirty Game" being included on here, even since that shit been out since 2006 that's probably the illest cut on the whole album. i agree that this is probably Mega's best work yet though, he really took his time with this one!

Actually it turns out the sample is the Mama's Theme from The Mack soundtrack, by Willie Hutch.

The song I was thinking of was Lupe Fiasco's Coulda Been:

    also

on eMc's U Let Me Grow

Heck, a great many classics born of a classic.

Mega is one of my favorite of all time...definitely my favorite non-Wu emcee of all time but after a few listens i'm not crazy about this album..

we've been waiting on this shit for YEARS and..it ain't as amazing as I was hoping..

i'm sure it'll grow on me but at the moment I'm only loving "Make it Clear" everything else is ok

i'll have much more to say about it when i get to listen to it a bunch more times but at the moment i'm pretty disappointed (especially after what he spit on Chamber Music, he had the best verse on that whole cd!)

^^ i'm pretty sure it will grow on you, to me this is easily comparable to "The Realness" and "True Meaning" - ok, the lyrics ain't as street anymore but production-wise it might be his illest to date imo.

    FUCKING SICK ALBUM.

Had that shit on repeat all weekend and will be buying next week. Seriously dope album, my only issues are I'm not too keen on the MOP track, feels kinda out of place, but maybe it will grow on me... and I'm not a big fan of that Mega Fresh remix, other than that, dope as fuck.

Your WAYY overboard with that comment. I cant believe you think this albums production can even get near The Realness
