yeah, my homie (the one who put me on to shrooms) was trying to learn me on the fact that even though it is not actually the hand of god that is making them catch the spirit, it is in fact real and most aren't faking it ... has a lot to do with manipulation of the mind and some lower levels of hypnosis if memory serves me right

It probably does work...^but on these levels. It's funny how you only see American's doing this kind of thing... mind you, i would also.... good money!

exactly, perception is reality...if i conditioned someone to believe i had a death touch, and that they should be in mortal fear of it, and perpetuated this for years, they could conceivably die if i were to merely touch them.

and let's say hypothetically that these weak minded attention whores are catching some type of metaphysical spirit...is that even positive? it's certainly not natural.

Yo all i know bout that thing is its scary when i see people roll over the floor like they was on some kind of crazy drug. I thought the holy ghost was something that was supposed to be gentle not turn you into a rag doll. Its sad how these so called pastors take advantage on the weak minded

As if it were real or fake you'd be able to debunk it or confirm it...

Anybody ever see a holy spirit? No. Anybody know how to define a spirit for fact? No.
Anybody know for fact how to test for it? Again, No.
Nobody knows whether that's real or ficticious and to pretend otherwise is just bogus.

I don't know if I believe in the modern day, "whooo look at me I'm crazy with the holy ghost" and flippin off walls shit.
But I believe in entities and hierarchies beyond our understanding.
I just doubt those entities are so generally retarded and dance happy.

Posession is another interesting phenomenon.
If the effect it has is physical, does that mean it's causation is entirely physical? Not necessarily.

Of course, what non-physical causes for any condition do we know how to test for? Absolutely none.
