great 3rd album from Shyheim. the track with Tekitha is my favorite. Shyheim comes correct on the track with Tekitha, has Big L handle some vocals and production and even samples Pulp Fiction on 'Furious Anger'.

I was lucky enough to snatch this up before they yanked it off the shelves. I always thought Shyheim was the best Wu Fam member next to Priest. I think this album is great ..7.5/10. He should be featured on Wu-Tang Forever. I loved his songs "Win" and "In Trouble' as well

I really liked this album, furious anger, manchild, am I my brothers keeper and I could continue.. even the "commercial" song, unconditional love is dope.. I loved his second verse in that song, "growing up wasn't easy, she sold the radio, vcr and tv"..

I know this threat is old as shit but you can find a few Manchild cds (I've seen some vinyl copies too) on like discogs n shit. I have the original from 1999, but it suffered a little cd rot and I found the 2001 UK version for like $11 after shipping (from the UK). And the newer one on wu-international has the full version of Verses from the Arsenal (I used to hate that the US version cut off the last verse). I think I saw some on Amazon UK too from private sellers.

    peace!

    I thought this was good.
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.
