Actually I didn't wrote paragraphs, I just copy something about la cosa nostra on http://www.crimelibrary.com

But now, let us decide... Would Raekwon refer to a drug route or would he refer to the Wu being a crew that is views as a savior for "their" people cause they protect "them" from police, gang and etc?

I guess you will go for the drug?

it could have two meanings but sense he says it on wu-gambinos he's repping the clan first, the drug connotation comes second

The right way to say it is "Cosa Nostra"... This comes from a long time ago, feudal lords gave some families in Italy lands and such, there was a document on that time designed by "Cosa Nostra" where it explained who where the families and wich where the lands that belong to them... With the time passing, many families mixed up together and some lands became property of only one person, that was the beggining of the Mafia, with one person ruling various lands he worked like a feudal lord in the new times... The document still exists and because of that lands pass from generation through generation, giving the family who owns it the same rights that the other families had centuries ago... La Cosa Nostra, Our thing, or in other words Our lands, Our Rules...

How could you give a person on a wrong path a right direction?

Haha, how do you figure he did that? He just sonned you with the right answer, although I don't doubt yours.

And I did ask you before I posted.
Peace God I aint know about Creates answer but he could be correct but the meaning is the Italian one that refers to the mafia. And i think since its in the Gambino's song you know the crime family. I think that is the meaning God. PEACE

LMAO...obviously there aint too many Italians on this board...
Rae is an idiot for pronouncing it 'costra nostra'....
And it is most definitely NOT a referenence to a drug route...were did that come from?
The one dude hit it on the head.
I don't mind the mob references, but its just so fake, because none of them are connected like that. Maybe they sold drugs for so and so who worked for so and so...whatever.
Its funny when you sit back and listen to it tho. I enjoy it tho, but coming from a guy like JoJo Pellegrino it would be more authentic, cuz i heard dude is really mobbed up plus he's italian.
Rae talks the most mafiosi shit(steve livoni..italy-ho.LOL) but dude cant even pronounce cosa nostra right???

It's supposed to be "LA COSA NOSTRA" but i guess Raekwon The Chef pronounced it incorrectly.

Costra means "scab" in spanish. So that drug-route in Panama was called "this scab of ours". True or not, that's pretty funny.
