Default Postman Pat ate my Beat Konducta CD

    Check it...

On monday I ordered Beat Konducta Vol. 1-2 (Finally!), Jay Stay Paid and Jay Love Japan from an online record store.

So today I went to the post office to pick them up, got home after almost freezing to death and opened the package:

Ah, what a lovely sight. I check the artwork and CD on Jay-albums, everything looks good but then I open Beat Konducta...

    What the fuck?!

Nah, Jay Love Japan and Vol. 1-2 got some scratches and price sticker glue on the case though. Guess they took em straight off the shelf...

Just got an e-mail saying that they forgot to check the jewel cases because of christmas rush. I'll sue em if they send me a Kid Cudi cd.

Also I noticed that both Jay-albums use the same picture of Dilla as artwork. I Guess Jay Love Japan was originally meant to be a lot bigger than just a 9 track EP.

^ actually there was two versions of "Jay Loves Japan", the CD that you copped and then a bootleg LP version that had some different songs and verses. i put together both once and i think it made 16 songs and about 30-35 minutes, i'll see if i still got it on my comp if you want it.

Yes indeed, he has already finished many different Beat Konducta volumes, they're just sitting in the vault collecting dust...well except Beat Konducta in AFRICA which is coming 2010. Hopefully that one will have the CD in the case when I order it...
