i'm never getting in a car with qop and art.
chill, i never passed any judgement on you. all i said was that it's scary to be in a car with a driver who's texting at the same time. didn't say i was perfect either, i can't even drive cos i'm too scared to sit behind the wheel.
i like you qop, so when i read what you posted, i got a little worried for you. i refuse to learn to drive cos i know there's mad people on the roads. what if one day you got into a serious car accident? you have kids, whether they're in the car with you or not, your safety should be your top priority when you're driving, not your blackberry. where would your kids end up if something ever happens to you? they love you and they need you.
I'm completely calm and not grouchy at all.........just simply asking a question........
i think this law applies to the entire east coast besides in new york and miami.... if it does happen usually they have blue or yellow plates....jersy and CT drivers can never drive for shit..... its annoying....but just go around them or tail them.....but be careful lol
Realness
lol, i've gotten lots of tickets, but i don't have any points on my license. most of the time, the cop will write me a ticket for "failure to obey traffic control device" which is a cheaper fine and doesn't give you any points. and if they write me one for speeding, i just go and fight it and the judge knocks it down to failure to obey traffic control devices.
i guess i've probably gotten 8-10 (that's less than 1 per year) speeeding tickets in my lifetime and only 1 of them counts because i got it in ohio and it was too far away to fight.
and no, i've never driven a rig.
i knew this one woman in the nut house who got picked up by the po-po and thrown into the nut house cos she was speeding down the wrong side of the road one night. she thought she was supposed to go pick up Princess Diana. this happened 8 years after Diana died. there are crazy people on the roads, if you're not paying full attention to the roads then you know what could happen.
Yeah, I didn't mean you drove a big rig per say, I just meant you remind me of those types of guys who do. lol
They must be some pretty leniant courts if they lessen the charge/fine when you're driving like Al Unser Jr. The judge must be Italian(mafia connections).
haha, no nothing like that. 90% of the time, if you fight a ticket, the judge will reduce the fine. i think it costs $7 to fight a ticket. that's not a very high price to pay, unless of course you have to miss work.
here's what you say to the magistrate to reduce your fine...
1) Your honor, i admit full guilt. i was speeding. i am just here to ask for a little mercy because...
2 a) if my car insurance goes up i won't be able to afford it, or
b)my job requires me to have a clean driving record. if my company finds out about this, i could lose my job.
damn art. its still 55 mph up in PA??? what part of the game is that???
