newports are so good though, lol.

I'd be willing to bet that the additives are not only worse for your health, but more habit forming too.

I smoke hand rolled cigarettes (100% natural american spirit) now to try and get out of the habit of buying packs and smoking them up. it works well enough for me, I haven't bought a pack in 4 months or so, but whenever I'm around a newport it drives me crazy.

even though I get nicotine, there's somethin about ports that hooked me. I'll still go to the corner store and buy a single a few times a week, even though I smoke a couple hand-rolled cigs a day on average; it's like I got to get my nicotine fix and my newport fix, lol.

that's what my nurse said. she's tried the natural american spirit fags and loves them, can't get them over here, though. she bought them when she went to america.

i've had these vietnamese fags my aunt got me, i don't remember the name of them but they were a nice clean tasting smoke.

i managed to give up smoking fags for a couple of weeks a few years back. then i went to one of my girls houses and we both bought a pack of fags. she was trying to quit too, we both used the inhalators, but couldn't resist any longer. that first one i lit up tasted absolutely foul, but i liked the feeling of the smoke in my throat and lungs.

    My point exactly.

Smoke is foriegn to the body. This is why we all cough when we smoke the first few times and even afterwards. Our bodies detect an intruder and are trying to get rid of it immediately.

The only purpose in smoking anything is to make you forget about your current situation, calm you down, make you feel relaxed, etc. All of this can be done through much safer and healthier means. Even when the ancient shamans and seers would smoke whatever was in thier pipes, they would accompany it with the necessary chants, drums and hymns. So it was for contacting other worlds and beings, not just for the sake of getting fucked up and the only did it when they had to. Even still, they were a long way down on the totem pole because thier predecessors could do such things just by drawing in the proper breath.

The safest cigarettes are the ones that stay unlit and unbought.

    i've never seen them.

and i said cigs would be SAFER, i didn't say it would be completely safe. i already said you'd inhale carcinogens whatever you smoke.

well, i've never looked or asked for them. i'm just going by what she told me.

cigs should also be cheaper if tobacco companies didn't spend money on all those hundreds of additives.

Ryback is my favorite rolling tobacco for euros, but I don't think it's all natural. I'm pretty sure rolling tobacco in any form is probably less tampered with than pack cigarettes. I smoke them without filters though, so I'm not sure what extra damage that might be doing.

Still, I smoke two, maybe three a day on average and probably more if I'm drinking or at a party or whatever, and I'd imagine it's way healthier than my pack a day habit I had earlier this year. Something about having a pack makes you think you can smoke for days, I hate that shit,

@ checkers, true but they don't put nearly as many chemicals in food as they do cigs.

@ 501 gold, i've been told there are less chemicals added to rolling tobacco. and use filters when you roll one, it's not hard.
