well the difference is that the Lerners have billions and are willing to spend and dont ever try to compare the Pirates tot eh Browns again.

Gruden is from toledo and grew up a browns fan, and if you watched the monday night game he was basically auditioning for the job.
the team is reallly not a black hole, it has just been mismanaged. Mangini has it going int he right direction tho, so i'd rather they stick with him.
Why would you think Shanahan would coach here and not Gruden??? that makes no sense, Shanahan has no connection here.

he's stressed out, getting chest pains and headaches...he needs a break
being a coach is very stressful
