yeah this is definitely a slept-on track, i used to bang this alot a while back. real muddy Dilla shit, and while (like most of the "Donuts" tracks) it does sound best as a short instrumental, Ghost actually does it justice. he got the right energy for this type of beats, Dilla + Ghost was a fatal combination judging from the 5 joints we've got from them. imagine if D was still around that would've easily been an album i'd prefer over DOOM/Ghost.

i wonder if Jay D gave this beat specifcially to Ghost @ together with the other "Fishscale" joints or if he freestyled over the 'Donuts' beat CD?

i always assumed 'murda goons' was specifically a mixtape, promotional type cut because of the dj shout outs and 'hit the road with rae, dipset, and d-block' lines...regardless, it's one of the dirtiest and disgusting tracks ghost has made this decade, and dilla did a good job taking a sample that's been done to death and making it sound fresh.
