try putting a black CD into your CD/RW drive and see what the options are....if you have windows you might get a pop up asking you what you want to do. Sometimes you might have some burning or copying programs that you didnt even know.

Pick a program and find out how it works. Most of them are quite simple, where you browse your files and add the tracks that you want then press the copy or burn button.

Ipod 5th Generation was the best. I think it had the best digital analog convertor. I still have two of 'em. You can customize them with CF cards. Otherwise I've never really liked apple devices.

Since car headunits play usb flash drives, ipods, and smartphones i don't bother burning cds much anymore. I always preferred Pioneer head units. I had a JVC in a car once and hated it. I also think kenwoods are not as durable. Alpines are nice. Clarion used to be unique.

I don't get into car audio anymore. Grew up and stopped caring. One day i'll have to treat myself to a new system.

<edit> interesting fact. My first cd burner in the late 90's cost me about $300. I was one of the first to get one. Buffer was a problem which was why I had to burn at 2x or 4x speed.

Despite having a burner, I still bought hundreds of CDs and eventually moved on to records.
