    Default Spoken-word poetry!

    Peace.

Firstly, I made this post here because spoken-word is completely different to the written form.

All Def Jam Poetry / Slam Poetry is welcome.

This is a piece I performed with my bredda (I'm the yout on the right):

    PEACE!

More appropriate than anywhere else, sir.

    Peace.

poetry is my favorite form of literature, hands down. from aa milne to shakespear.

for some reason i just cant get down with spoken word. not the words but 90% of the time its delivered in the same tone with the same inflictions and soforth.

that being said i think its ill you made this thread.
i think poetry dont gets its due here but u got some skills man.
ill post here later on with an actual contribution lol
    peace

I get what you mean, darg.

However, I have a very different tone to the spoken-word in the US. I think... lol.

    Dusk...

    I don't think so. Spoken-word isn't always in rap-style.

[And my video would get smashed to pieces there.]

I think rapping is a more effective way of getting your thoughts across Cee, i admire your positive attiude toward uk youth though, it takes balls for a younger to go against the consensus.

This is an amazing poem. One of my favourite spoken-word pieces of all time.

    Non-rap, too.

    Peace.

    Thanks, G.

Let me tell you about that.

On that VERY SAME NIGHT, after the show, this guy (who attended) pulled out a gun on some girl's mother. Shit almost kicked off.

Luckily nothing much happened. Just a heated exchange of words. This was right outside my school.

    Peace.
