Thread: What if Ghostface Killah joined Stones Throw?

Default What if Ghostface Killah joined Stones Throw?

Does anybody else think that once Ghost is done with on his Def Jam albums that Stones Throw would be the perfect label for him? Production from Madlib & Oh No plus Ghost spitten alongside Guilty Simpson, Percee P, & M.E.D. would be bonkers. I think Id be sweet to get a Ghost album on Stones Throw.

P.S. I also think Ghost would sound great over a Jake One beat.

damn you i thought this would be news of Ghost actually moving to Stones Throw lol. hell yeah, that would be incredible; might be the greatest move he could've done at the moment.

Dunno, Ghostface seems like a major-label dude to me.

No matter how much they mess with him, he holds out in hope of those major #s.

he'll be looking ovr at Raekwon making all that money and sales on the independent route though

idk why ghost has never done a spin off album with a label like s.t since hes been on def jam though. theres a big market there for him. either he has real bad advisors or his def jam contract locks him in from working with other labels.

yeah ghost on stones throw would be hot

plus it would increase his exposure more plus he could really work with DOOM on easier scale. I remember reading in an interview with Ghost and he did say Def Jam was the reason swift & changable hasn't been done or come out cuz of paper work

^ well most labels (including Def Jam) use alot of in-house producers to cut down on the album budgets. just check how much Ghost has used Sean C & L.V. lately for example.
