We are still infants. Our lifespan will be vast. We have barely climbed out of our crib, we still cannot walk on our own yet, we cannot speak yet, and we certainly don't know who we are yet.

We've been around for 200,000 years and we're only just beginning to comprehend the world around us. Don't sell us short and say we're in decline. We haven't even started our great task yet.

i think we are still developing almost everyday there is some new technology or political method. so if an apocalypse happens,post apocalypse if were all not dead or in the new hell will be a new turn of events for us. we'll learn more about ourselves and probably be a little more wary about our surroundings and the whole universe and the human mind.
