    Don't you think there should be a rule requiring people to get their facts straight before dropping their opinions?

    Isn't that part of being involved in a forum. You drop your opinion and if it's factually incorrect then someone else can say so. Then you should humbly admit your mistake and research more thoroughly. I think that that would work better then saying don't post until you get your facts straight. Especially when "facts" aren't always black and white.
