hrm I start to feel weak, tired, and/or unable to think as clearly as usual if I don't eat for several hours, do these eventually go away after more time?

and after havin eaten the meal.. appreciate what you did.. and from then concentrate how to use what u have in terms of energy in efficient ways..

patience is one of natures greatest virtues... one of the best ways to test it is by fasting!

I was about to make a thread on fasting.

To all those out there, is it really tough to fast? A few of my friends are fasting and i feel as tho it would be tough as hell. And can someone go through the "rules" of fasting, ie; what time can you eat etc...

it takes time for your body to get used to real fasting

going with out food and drink from sun up to sun down is easier when your working or being busy during those hours
prayer also helps to give you strength and mind power to focus on the fast

also the reading of the quran can take your mind off of food for those hours

are you still gonna put up a thread on fasting seperate from ramadan ?
