you know, some real shit for the "children" instead of the endless grip of welfare
help solidify this "future" that you claim they're supposed to be
because the future as it stands right now appears to me to be quite bleak
the only thing our government does is procrastinate and hesitate
putting our lives on the back burner, not giving a damn about out fate
I feel hopeless at times, like I'm trapped in a maze with no escape
That's just how it seems ...
I just want to spread my wings and take flight to a land of lost dreams
where people really care about their fellow man first, and give a fuck about possessions and the cream
I'm not just blowing off some steam, I'm giving a voice to some real issues
trying to let the masses of children know "I'M STILL WITH YOU"
hopefully others will feel my message so that I won't have to stand alone
unite under the flags of what's right so that we can provide our children with a "HOME"
