^^^ klap u aint never lied..

Honestly though if you look in the history books.

New jersey always had potent hip-hop. We have had many dominant figures in the hip-hop game. Jersey doesn't get the recognition we deserve today as we did back in the day. Jersey always had the most dangerous emcees, with the pen and in person. Often imitated and always duplicated.

But defintiely do the HISTORY.... Jersey = the MOST DANGEROUS emcees.

cap, check out Chino XL, The Artifacts, Akai Pros, Jamal & Malik of Illegal (were better as teens in 92 than many current MCs) and Lords of The Underground if you haven't already. I think Apache might be from Jersey too, he had plenty skills.

All this Jersey talk & not one mention of Poor Righteous Teachers? On the production side you can throw Just Blaze & The 45 King in the conversation.

Fatboybrandon, Illegal aren't from Jersey. Malik is from Atlanta or Cali i think and Jamal is from Philadelphia.

What people gotta realize, a large factor of New York being percieved as having the best MC's is that like in the early 90's unless u were from New York, no one was gonna hear your shit.

Im sure there was a sick producer in Chicago or some shit that was just as dope as Premo, but being that he didnt get the exposure he could have if he was in New York, no one would have never known.

For every one dope act that got exposure in Texas or Detroit, 30 got exposure in New York. So of course New York is gonna get the label of having the best MC's

The east coast will always have the best rappers.

NY has a special vibe that you cannot recreate, anywhere else in the world.

Nigga it's only 5 outta the 25 rappers he named were battle rappers on dvd's...
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

def. think French can run with it if he stays on this level of vibe and if he does that real life shit.

i agree with CJ that NY has the best rappers, but you can't sleep on your Cali, memphis, texas, atlanta rappers that have put work in, if we're talkin historically.
