question...for these battles can we incorporate any other samples/ sounds into the track? besides the drums obviously -
for my first battle i just assumed we couldn't
and should we submit entries to Inf this time around? I think it'd be more interesting to wait and hear all tracks at one time
also before yall accuse sunny of ducking the battle i happen to know his mixer took a dump a few weeks ago, so whether he wants to or not i doubt he'll participate

you can play bass along with the sampl on whatever synth or plug in you have.only thing is - if you play synth over the sample you cant deviate the melody of the sample.does that make sense?

shit man I dont even know any more what time limit is with the battles. It just cant be established. you set one and then you get other ppl droppin and all this so ...I would say just go ahead and work on something if you want to and hope you drop it before we are ready for a poll thread. no rush.
if I had to guess , I would say everybody should have something in by thur or so.should have the poll up by next weekend?just guessing.

I have an idea I'm working on for this sample round, I would have been about 1/2 way done with it by now but I was finishing up the last one of Rick Wakeman.
