Which Madlib Medicine Show release should I start with first? Should I start from the first release, or is it aurally irrelevant?

The jazz stuff sounds interesting, I'll get those eventually. I just hope he finishes the series with something big like a new Quas album.

I've been seeing really hateful user reviews from this series, but most of these people fail to realize that he's stated in interviews that hiphop bores him and it's necessary to take breaks for 2-3 years.

A lot of these (fggt college kids with too much downtime) are speaking/reviewing on forms of music they have never heard or bothered to immerse themselves in.

You won't enjoy these if your smoking shake and drinking light beers.

    ^ word

Im really feeling the High Jazz joint which isnt surprising because i liked the two other jazz albums madlib put out this year. #8 should be sick as well.

Just a heads up, soulseek has all of the medicine shows, including numbers 4 & 6 in 9 split tracks.

I recently found out about Madlib. Don't ask me why I been sleeping, like him I've been kinda bored with hiphop too.

But this beat is too fucking ill.
