Default How many fans of that true school hip-hop are there in the world

    ?????

Now ask yourself how many of 'em actually buy the CD's when they're released. If you're a fan of that real shit and there's say, atleast 5 million true school hip-hop fans out there in the world, then when the new Reflection Eternal drops ain't no real reason a record like that (or any other artist thats in that echelon) shouldn't be going 5x platinum. If you wanna hear that real shit on the radio, real fans gonna have to spend real money.

I'm acting like fans of that real shit should be putting their dollars behind the artist they love and that the lack in doing so has a negative effect on the music as a whole.

I say RE because that's an artist (group, W.e.) I personally love. Its just an example.

The Reflection Eternal album sounds weak compare the first one. I only like 4 tracks from the snippets i heard. Talib's new delivery is mad annoying and Hi-Tek's beat aren't the same.

Yall are missing the point entirely. I don't care if you like Reflection Eternal. This thread isn't about that at all. Those guys were just an example of someone's music I personally enjoy. Everyone that logs into here has some artist out there that they absolutely love that is still droppin records.

The fact your judging a album based on snippets shows whats wrong with hip hop these days and why so many good albums go overlooked.

I dont think you should have mentioned the talib record lol.. talk about hijacking your own thread...
Anyway, Ive been a pusseh of a fan i'll admit it, I havent been spending that much money on cds or vinyl. Actually, I'd say about 80% of every piece of music I have accumulated in the past two years was cost me no money at all, but not from lack of trying. As soon as I start collecting a little bit more extra cash imma have to make up for that actually cause reading taht back to myself it sounds kinda bad.
