I remember i hated Paz the first few times i heard him (Legacy of Blood - which i still think is his worst effort).

But you get used to his approach, and i think some people take him too seriously at times.

Good album, few weak points, can get a bit boring after a few back to back spins, but i like it.

Probably on a similar level to Visions Of Gandhi to me.

damn. i gotta say, paz won me over with this one. i havent been the biggest jmt head. im familiar with their work, and think stoupe is an amazing producer and all that. but ive never really gotten into them.

but this album is dope, for real. is paz gonna win lyricist of the year? no. but can he handle his own on a album full of dope mcs? hell yeah.
thinkin bout coppin this one. its a really solid album.
and number 10 is just one of the tightest songs ive heard in 2010. just a fuckin banger (im thinkin its madlib on the beat, too.)

Great album but havent really listened to it fully
is let down by wack beats alot though, i mean that beat from collabo with clipse was wack imo and some others generic or too commercial sounding

vinnie i think is a great mc but i think wack at timees, once think u cant deny though is his passion , e.g. like on My dedication song which was dope too but too bad about them cutting the beat

aside from his repetitive subject matter (which is..... SMH), his rhyme skills are doodoo.
    i'm ashamed he's from philly.

^ yeah, thats what i'm saying. i dont get it; a ton of MC's i got MAD respect for co-sign this dude.
    i cant call it.

but cuz, at the VERY VERY VERY least u gotta admit his rhyme style is very basic!!! (1,2,3... 1,2,3...)
... NEVER has complex rhyme schemes that make u think or make u go "oh shit!". his style is the exact same on EVERY song.

early paz was crazy with the patterns...

and every once in a while... hell come with some multisyllabic gun shit... thatll stick out like a sore thumb!!!!!!!!!!!!

these days... he gets by on vocal punch and line power!!!!!!!!!!

he can definitely rhyme kid... he might recycle a cadence, but he knows how to stay in pocket... power rhyming!!!!!!!!!

ive been bumpin the hell out of this... conceptually, this album is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!

"bad day" is so dope... joint with shara about jedi mind origins is ILL...

"aint shit changed" is a tough listen... he feelin mortality, sensing the loomin tragedy, then he spits a couple lines to boost himself... thats REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!! almost like paz has to convince himself he still in the fight!!!!!!!!!!!!

4th disciple and bronze beats are godly... SMH... you know 4th got the heat, he just needs a way to get it out there!!!!!!! peace to paz, clearly a huge killarmy fan!!!!!!!!!!!

im coppin this no fuckin doubt!!!!!!!!!!!

thats the whole point, he's an aggressive MC and a simple rhyme pattern is the most effective

this isn't some big pun lyrical exhibition

this is kick your pregnant sister down the stairs music

and nobody does it better than pazienza

listening to half the album right now and everything is FIRE so far. it should be noted that i'm not listening to front back, but listening to all the songs with the A-list producers, "Righteous Kill", "Washed In Lambs Blood", "Role Of A Lifetime", DJ Muggs/Jacken joint, the two Madlib tracks, "Warmonger" (Fame getting it IN), "Monsters Ball" - all incredible joints!! i wonder if Da Beatminerz joint is the one with RA (haven't heard it yet). but the 10 tracks i heard now adds up to a 4/5 album, but we'll see what the rest is above or up-to par (which i doubt).

Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

this would be a 4+ album if they cut about 5 tracks. still nice though. top 10 of year imo...so far.

Fuck the dumb shit, this may very well be one of the best albums of the year. If not THE best. I give it a 5 outta 5 because the shit is fuckin' beautiful in my opinion.
