"10 Bricks" (original Jaylib's 'The Red' blend)

if you're a fan of J Dilla and/or Madlib you might know the incredible track that is "The Red" from their 2003 album "Champion Sound". that album was re-issued in 2007 and bc of sample clearances the beat to "The Red" was replaced with another unreleased J Dilla beat - this happened to be the same beat Raekwon recorded "10 Bricks" over. i love both these joints so it just struck me that the "10 Bricks" acapella should work over the original "The Red" beat since the BPM's should be the same. now i'm not a producer and don't have the technology so i asked my man RUSTY WU CHAIN to hook it up, and goddamn he DELIVERED a banger right here. this shit works - DOPE!!!!!

dunno man, its mixed the best there could be. i tried starting the beat from the beggining where he says "rappers steppin to me" and it didnt work, trust...this is as good as its gonna get, i tried all points

raekwons verse is matched perfect i'll give you that, but cappas verse comes in at the wronge time, and ghostface's doesnt have those horns behind his vocals....which takes away at the end...so the climax isnt nearly as epic.

Rusty's blend sounds dope to me, i'm gonna give yours a spin too in a minute but as stated above most of the Wu have very unconventional flows so it doesn't seem to be the easiest thing. the only problem i have is that the instrumental was of pretty weak quality so if anyone got a high quality rip of "The Red" instrumental, pls hook it up
