what effect does that to samples???? pitch bend?????? I gotta try that cuz I keep hearing ppl say they did their scratches with just effects and I dont get it.I never found that sound yet on the SP.

vote goes to 7th, i been playin both beats back and forth and 7th got more punch.

feelin the chops on INFs beat, but the vocal sample and the thump in the drums on 7ths killed it.

I knew you were gonna be loud and bangin with the overall sound.unfortunately I can't pump your beat past the halfway mark on my speakers.One thing I try and do right now before I rip audio is to see if its gonna distort if I wanna bang the shit out of it.

I wanna bang the shit outta your beat and even rap to it but it distorts.Still aint gonna stop me from handling my biz but that shit is LOUD!! hahaha

baically man you gotta take a chop from the sample, apply it to the pad with gate enabled. then basically tweek the pitch control as if it was wax getting a rythem going whilst tapping the pad in a similar rythem holding it down for different amounts of time, takes practice but its doable

you can do it in any daw as well

word up man I'll be the first to admit that the mixing could of been better but firstly i kind of just threw it together without worrying about the mix as much as I normally would as it was just a throw away battle joint and secondly Im restricted to phones only for mixing at the mo till I move to the new crib with the fam at the end of the month (finally lol) so getting the levels right is tricky.

anyway I got it all tracked out so i can fix it easy enough if anybody wants it

damn damn damn.... i actually came in like c'mon inf aint got shit 4 7th grandmantis. but yo u proved me wrong shit was dope both beats were naaastyyyy, voted for 7th cuz like bf said his had a lil bit more punch to it, but in f props man cuz shit was a real tuff battle here....rly enjoyed this one
