Default Busta Rhymes - When DisAster Strikes

"My Squad stays forming like the Muslims down @ the mosque". The t.i.m.e of the 8th Wonder of the World; his most lyrical & versatile album. Anyone else realise the executive producers. Rick Posada & busta? after that combination ended i guess so did Bustas prime...Three albums of tightness then-bullshit. I give this lp a 9/10 but-just. Scratch made these albums happen aswell...WHY did these cats shift paths? damn...anyway, how U rate it?

I remember niggas used to think that Bust couldnt spit because he was wild all the time, but his first 4 some niggas say 3 albums very classic material. And that Flipmode joint suprised me...those where the days when niggas side crews were actually nice, unlock St. luntics, Get it boys, PSC and so on.. how could I forget D12

    bumpin this to the front...

i fukin love this album, one of my first experiences of hip hop..
yall remember the vid 4 "ya ya ya" where busta's sportin the 96 jordans?? that got me interested, then i copped this album and been a fan of east coast rap ever since..

fav tracks... get high tonight, put your hands where my eyes can see, and the last couple.. dont know the names..

one has (cue sarcastic laugh track NOW) mase, diddy and busta.. a real slow, methodical beat, but the best part of this record is when busta goes "check out the way me and my niggas always be rippin shit/ the way that i display flavor an keep it so intricate.." jus the way he spits this, you'd have to hear it to understand me... much of the rest of the song is kinda wack, but little shit, you know?

    9/10

This was the first CD I bought. I was like 9 or 10. Dangerous was the track that made me like rap/hip-hop and cop this CD. I still thoroughly enjoy this album.

Good album, but The Coming >>>>

Also, the beats are amazing (Easy Mo, DJ Scratch), but I can't help but wish KRS-One rapped over them. I don't know why, but Busta didn't fit them the way I think KRS could've.

    Still, dope album, classic shit.

I bought Big Bang hoping for some nice Dre beats over Bustas crazy style.
I got mellow beats and a mellow Busta, I think he's definately turned over a new leaf.
I think that was the symbolism on the inside cover, with him all crazy with his dreads, and the next shot he looked chilled with a clean cut fade and his dreads in his hands.

Saying goodbye to the old Busta, and maybe a lot of his fans.

Love this album. Busta was such a charismatic and likeable MC on this one. It sounds dark but yet inviting at the same time. A few of the tracks are a bit weaker and there are a few too many skits but the songs alone are great. I love Rhymes Galore and Put Your Hands... What are y'alls favorite tracks?

He has some good songs on here. My favorite one is One with Erykah Badu. I like how he sampled Stevie Wonder's Love Is In Need Of Love Today. Before the song comes on, he talks to Rampage on the phone and they get in a argument because Busta called him early in the morning telling him about a crazy dream. Rampage said if it ain't about no pussy, no shows, we ain't gotta be in the studio, please don't call my crib god LOL. You ain't on it like that. Stop fucking bugging god LOL. If you call my crib again, i'm gonna bust your shit god LOL. Busta said fuck you nigga LOL. Rampage said i don't want no beef god. I'm out. Busta said alright peace.
