my favorite Big L song is street struck and the last one on the lifestyles of the poor and dangerous . the one where he says , "everybody want to be like mike , but mike want to be like L .
too great . it hurts me . i hope i get to meet him . i want to go to Harlem , so i can see where he was from . im a mase fan too , so along with Amsterdam , i want to go to Harlem .
Trip
yeah , Street Struck is ill as fuck ! Big L got killed on the same block he shot the album cover for Lifestylez ov Da Poor & Dangerous . Sad man , very sad .
hard to pick one!!!! he has soooo many good songs
but i would probably have to say either Put it on or Da Graveyard
n yeah apparently his dad that was never around is getting his royalties
thus there will never be another Big L album

Street Struck
"I pledge allegiance to the hip hop"Method Man
Fuck man , that's bullshit , that his dad can come out of nowhere and do that ! Hopefully his dad dies . LMAO
it's hard as fuck to pick one single song that is his absolute best, but the nr. 1 song that probably represent L and how great he was is "EBONICS". i was banging that shit every day when it first dropped around 2000 and it's still blows my mind when i hear it.
daily updates: news, articles, reviews, the best compilations on the net. that true skool street hop!
r.i.p. Johan D, Kaddu, Ricke a.k.a. "Slick Rick" and the rest of the fallen soldiers - you'll never be forgotten!
I'm gonna have to go with Put It On like other people said, that's a defining song for him as far as personality and lyrical ability, like other legendary MC's debut singles. It's one of my favorite Buckwild beats too.
There's a couple new Big L projects coming out on vinyl if you want to purchase online as collectors items. The limited edition demo recordings from the early 90's presented by Showbiz and a vinyl re-issue of Lifestylez Ov Da Poor And Dangerous which includes a poster. Check my sig for a link to more details on those projects and how to purchase.

i would have to agree with peepz in here. it's fucking hard to point out a single joint thats better than the rest.
but i have come to the conclusion that it has to be one of these three -
No Endz, No Skinz.
Street Struck.
Fed Up Wit The Bullshit.
Rest in peace Lamont Coleman Aka Big L
