there's a muggs interview video on undergroundhiphop.com where he talks about what a great relationship he has w/ rza and how much he learned from rza!

still, muggs is amazing!....one of the most underrated of all time?

Didn't think I'd ever see the day when I actually wished RZA would start imitating Muggs.

And here we are in 2010.

Agree. Wonder how a WU album produced by Muggs would sound.

considering 6 feet deep was recorded in 91/92 and black sunday didnt come out until mid 93.. i think its safe to say muggs feeling himself. wish we could clarify that fact with him so he can wipe that ego from his brain but whatever. rza was WAAAAAAY better than muggs.

rza picked better mcs. rza made better beats, rza tailor made 5 solo albums to each artist while making 2 completely different sounding albums for the wu.

those 7 classics from nov 92 to june 97 are better/more than muggs whole career of classics and dude has a hell of a modern day run with meyhem, ill bill, gza, etc

Earlier this year I went back n listened to a lot of House of Pain tracks. N I felt a lot of the beats had a RZA feel. Muggs did the bulk of the production on the first 2 albums. N pretty sure their first album was before 36. Regardless, Muggs n RZA r my 2 all time favorites so it's a no lose scenario for me. Plus pretty sure these 2 were obviously tight for awhile. But RZA's circle has become odd in recent years to say the least so not sure where they stand today. Ps-Muggs posted a pic of him n Rae the other day together. Not sure if if was recent. Peace

One of RZA’s best ever along with No Hook/Shaw and the AZ Do or Die remix w/ Raekwon

I was a BIG House Of Pain fan. I wore the crummy tees to school and everything ha. Muggs is defo a great producer. RZA is still better though.

DJ muggs know what he's got, rza on the other hand experimented so much.

The main difference between Muggs and RZA is they both did a lot of experimenting with different styles and genres, but when Muggs comes back to Hip-Hop, he still knows how to make that grimy hardcore shit that his core fans love! RZA forgot what the real Wu fans want which is why we end up with sub-par shit like ABT and Bankz & Steelz. Even with The Saga Continues, RZA was hyping this as a return to the old sample based stuff using the ASR, etc. But if you compare Saga to the new Muggs album, I know which one I've been listening to the most. Muggs all day.

Can't wait for the new Cypress Hill to drop. Muggs gunna show once and for all how a 90's crew can still drop a bangin hard album in 2017/18.

Muggs has kept it 100 forever, Everything to do with Muggs or his camp is always fire. That Meyhem LP is disgusting.

    Agree!! 2017 Muggs >>>>>> 2017 RZA

The Meyhem album is ridiculous!! A bit too much Action Bronson on there for my liking. But production-wise it's album of the year for me.

And yeah, anything Soul Assassins related is always fire! Muggs, Cypress, House of Pain, Psycho Realm, Sick Jacken, all drop heat.

    Peace!

Even that X my Heart stuff Muggs is playing arround with is dope as fuck. Dude can do no wrong in my eyes.

He had a break from Hip Hop because he was fucked off with the people involved. dudes happy where he is now and you can hear it. Cannot wait for Muggz x Marciano in March.

^^ Yeah, I'm not a massive Roc Marcy fan but I know Muggs will bring the heat for him.

I hope the new Cypress drops before the Marcy joint.

    Peace!
