Yeah Bob is going through the comic book Arc of Dale from the comics.
Bob walked away because he was bit. Thats why he was crying before hit over the head. The hunters arc is now resembling the comic book now. Wait until they realise Bob was bit. The epic scene of "TAINTED MEAT" is coming.
And when I mentioned Carol being the new Maggie I meant Andrea.

Season 5 has been good so far.
How come they didn't just shoot some of the zombies in the head before getting in the dirty water? So Tyrese lied about killing that guy from the previous episode?
Its pretty much the same other than how they introduce characters and they are swapping characters for others to be developed on the show.
For instance:
- There was no Terminus. The hunters were introduced the way we are seeing them now in the last episode.
- The Governor killed Lori and the Baby.
- The Baby is now a survivor and Lori was taken out by Carl after giving birth.
- Tyrese never had a sister with him it was his daughter and her boyfriend which ended tragically.
- Carol dies in the comic and Andrea lives. It has flipped in the show.
Rick had his hand cut off by the Governor in the comics as well! I'm still waiting for the third compendium to come out...
Right^ I omitted that purposely in case that occurs with Negan.
I don't think Glen will meet Lucille either.
Also - Dale lived on in the comic.
I'm sorry, I love to read, but I also love film, so...I am absolutely against reading the comics at this point, being 5 seasons into the TV adaptation. I love the series way too much and I don't want my perspective of it to be changed lol.
Apollo you should go to the library and read compendium 2 its worth the read and will not ruin the show.
Another difference.
The 2 girls that were killed were actually boys in the comic and Carol never shoots the boy.
The boy is shot by Carl as the grown ups try and decide what to do with the boy after he killed his brother.
Carl sneaks into the boys room (They are at a compound) asks him if he thought what he did was wrong and the boy answers not to Carl's liking and Carl blasts him in bed. LOL...Then goes back to his own house. The adults are blaming each other on who killed the boy. Its pretty intense.
even if I did the read the books, shouldn't I read compendium 1 first?
Yes, but compendium 1 is almost the same as the show. Seasons 1-4
So watching seasons 1-4 is just like reading compendium 1? like since i watched those seasons i can go on to reading compendium 2? it's basically similar?
You probably could but I would still read the first one beforehand anyway. I read them both after being recommended here and they're good. I thought they were different enough so that it won't spoil you're enjoyment of the show. Only thing is there's only 2 of them out so far and I cant find any info about a release date for the third one!
that episode was SICK. i'm amazed on how soon Gareth died. i thought it was gonna take the whole season to accomplished what they just did in 3 episodes. and when I saw Gareth at the mercy of Rick's group i felt like cold hard fucking justice has been done.
I envy you, a lot. The whole series being fresh in your mind and getting it all at once. I watched the first 3 seasons in a week but season 4 and so far 5, I have been waiting each and every episode out.
