I prefer the aforementioned 2, but Ironman is equal to those in terms of quality.

Better than Supreme Clientele for me.
It's the god, god.
SC good as it was, would have been alot better if it didnt have TMF or whatever they are called, Lord Superb sounds like he has a constant flu.
LS >> OB4CL imo
then after that it is really hard for me to say, a few weeks ago i would have said either supreme clientele or ironman....but recently i have been listening to return to the 36 chambers alot and think that it is also a strong contender for 3rd place wu solo
^Some of the beats on Return were crazy as fuck, especially Harlem World prod by Big Dore, which according to discogs was his only production, makes me wonder whether it was an alias of RZA or something because it sounded like something he would produce like, very Ticalesque
That's a really nice song in your sig too, peace

This thread has gotten me hooked on Ironman. Already considered a 5 Star LP, but it’s been pushed up into heavy rotation. Assassination Day is sharpppp
its a cult classic

"I fucked you on a chair with three legs
Broken tables, had you screamin while you was bitin on my cables" ... Your a bitch...Wildflowers the shit.... This albums been classic...
that untitled song on ironman is one of the best wu-tang songs ever. the beat, first of all, has 2 ill piano loops, one that he sampled from a live performance !with the audience's applause included! most producers would have said 'aww, it's a doep sample, but the clapping ruins it. oh well' and kept it moving. but rza went in with it, and it's so raw and one of the coolest moves he's ever made in my book. plus the song has probably one of the best method man verses
I actually think the vibe on this album is darker than ironman, though maybe not throughout the entire album
lyrically ghost hadn't really found his voice yet, and by that I mean the dusted, stream-of-conscious supreme clientele cobra clutch style he has become known for, but this is definitely one of the top 3-5 wu-tang albums
I saw a gza interview on mtv once (gza on mtv?!) - probably around the time of liquid swords - and he was talking about how each wu-tang solo album is in essence a wu-tang clan album with the focus on a different individual member. this album exemplifies that more than all the others. inspeactah deck, rza, raekwon & masta killa are on a song where the man whose name is on the cover is nowhere to be found. raekwon has a solo on it just like ghost had a solo on cuban linx.
