Default New MPC 2500 Beats*10 Tracks

I thought it would be a good challenge to fuck with nothing but 80's vinyl for this set of instrumentals. These are all pretty simple at the moment, but I plan to put drops and mix up the final cuts on Cubase.

Appreciate you taking the time to check out the tracks Demon. Definitely got more to do, but I at least made the beats a bit more on point for now.

In my opinion Track 1 is the best, but the others are also good.

damn man you put in a lot of work. I find it difficult enough to produce record track and master one beat. You knock out like 10 a day.

So what do you get out of the 2500 that i don't get with the 1000?

I need to get the J OS so i can use the Midi time code. the akai os doesn't have MTC.

I guess i also wish that i could adjust track volumes better. I'm adjusting sample volumes individually....

    you freaked track 6 nicely.

I wonder if the 2500 pads have more sensitivity? What about the sp's that so many cats on here have?

I use cubase to track out too. Although most of the time i just like to wing it and record live.

    track 1 not bad...zzzzzz

    track 2 ...zzzz track 3 ....

track 4 - okay now i pulled out the weed sack...I'm waiting for some fast hi hats to drop or something. You got some a few good samples here. Hype it up though!

track 5 - ... Track 7 - chopped it up too much man...

Track 9 - Ohhhhhh shit....building up so much suspense but the rocket never takes off

    Track 10 - goodnight.

    Respect.

I just get lost in records for hours and hope something dope comes out of it. There is still more I can do with the tracks. I'm gonna run my Yamaha thru Cubase and add some flavor to the mix.

Good looks on the review Sense. I actually don't own this 2500, belongs to a friend, but it is more familiar cause I used to own a 1000 myself. Had the 2500 for about 7 months though and still trying to learn much about it. Sucks cause I have no real solid speaker set up @ the moment.

Much love Sleep. That took a combination of a couple records to get the 9 decade vibe.
