the track BE is one of the best jump offs ever...the way the beat builds up is so nice

4 mics... Common is an incredible mc. Some classics on here while a few tracks drag on with some of Kanye's more boring production. I also think they should have put the studio version of "The Food" on here and not the live version.

I'd rank this third behind Resurrection and Like Water For Chocolate.

Not a classic, but still dope.
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

what> Common sense is nasty! This album is 8.5/10 cause its too short. Kanye and Comm are the shot!

its a great album but not a classic comon. id give it 4/5

how can you say his flow is borin...lets take 'the corner' or 'go' as examples, he switches up his flow to suit the beats, and both times his flow is on point

not his best work lyrically, but com still spits decent lyrics and the beats are pretty dope

p.s. common is not a top 10 lyricist

    still standin tall
