GAINESVILLE, Fla. — An associate pastor of the Dove World Outreach Center, which is moving ahead with plans to burn copies of the Muslim holy book on Saturday, said he doubts assertions that burning the Quran will endanger American troops.
"We don't believe it," said Wayne Sapp, 41, who has been a member of the church for 17 years. "The troops knew the dangers before they went over there. They knew the radical element of Islam is there. This is nothing new."
Sapp said the church, headed by Terry Jones, is "still in prayer over the whole thing."
"We are convinced this is the direction God wants us to go," Sapp said. "That's the only reason we're doing it in the first place."
He said the church could still decide not to burn Qurans on Saturday.

if he does this it will be he stupidest thing he could do

well if you are a true believer in christianity than you believe Islam to be an evil religion based on a false prophet, hence the burning makes sense. To a devout christian

what is he going to accomplish by doing this? maybe idk he could focus his time on helping people as churches are supposed to do but no instead he want to burn a bunch of Qurans, because of 9/11, but what is that going to do? Am pretty sure no one that lost someone on 9/11 is going to feel better this is all just for attention. why do religious people get horny for attention? instead of just worshiping the Holy Most High and moving in peace they always want to be the ones to start shit and blame it on the world and think they are justified, because thy claim to do it in the name of God they really no little to nothing about
