i think his MM series been illy... i wish it was a little angrier but i'ma check this out. thanks for the vids
big budden fan here! mood muzik 2 was phenomenal!! last project he did that struck a chord with me was halfway house, he got real bland after that imo. hope this is a return to form for joey!
budden lost. slaughter house should kick him out. he makes them look corny
gotta feeling this one is gonna be the best of the series
lol @ people who dont think Budden is sick..
monster on the mic..
..
Fans on here automatically hate on Joe more because of their maternal care for Raekwon and his wellbeing. Budden is a great emcee imo, and ignoring all his bullshit(I mean people in hip hop should really stop caring so much its more about the music, bloody gossip queens) hes talented. Out of Slaughterhouse imo hes the weakest, but in a group of that lyrical caliber, being the weakest is not a badge of shame.
I don't about that, but Joey is dope.
Joell Ortiz has crazy potential as a solo artist, every bar I hear from the dude keeps me on the edge of my seat.
Royce has insane solo material as well.
Crooked I stays getting fucked as a solo act, so I can't call it.
Budden is nice as fuck though and he formulates concepts well, he just needs to be on a label that can treat his music correctly (mixing it properly being the key here) but not stifle his creativity.
Budden signing a solo deal with Shady Records would be a better fit than his past moves, Royce too.
Fuck it, all of the members of SH would be a good look on Shady.
Idk much about Shady Records, but I hope they will get treated well, the group with sufficient promotion, and producers will do very well, although most of the production on most of the album especially "Pray(It's a Shame)" was excellent, really heartfelt song.
Yeah they are all dope, and Joell Ortiz, is excellent, I like how he manages to bring alot of humour to his work which alot of emcees dont. I think that song he had on Stoupe's "Decalogue" was excellent.
