Wow I just abandoned silent hill downpour over without any question the most ridiculous moment I have ever experienced in all of my history of gaming. It wasn't even anything that was SUPPOSED to b challenging. Just a puzzle where u have to do a few things in sequence, and one of them is to turn on rain for a scene in a theater, n u do it by turning a lever on a machine which u do by rotating the left stick on the controller, but u've gotta do it smoothly for a few rotations, n I spent anywhere up to about n hour trying to do it n it's simply not possible with my gear.

I watched a couple of walkthroughs n it's not even a thing. They just did it without even commenting on it. My game plays really jerky at thymes, which I don't know if it's specific to my system or disc, or just quirks in the gameplay. But I don't know if it's that or something to do with my controller, but I've accepted it's simply not possible for me to get thru this part.

I may try ordering another controller, but it'll just b a waste if it doesn't solve the problem. Otherwise just gonna have to abandon it for good.

I didn't even get particularly pissed off. I was just in fucking disbelief that something so utterly ridiculous spelled the end of my journey thru this game.

I know I post about a lot of shit nobody gives a fuck about, in this thread. I just have gaming experiences that I need to share n I have nowhere else to share them, lolololol.

Holy fucking Jesus that was some serious thyme wasting shit...so just as I was about to start hitting up contacts to c if anybody had a ps3 controller I could borrow, the solution hit me...plug in a ps2 controller using the adaptor I use for my arcade stick. And sure enough there was absolutely nothing to it. So it looks like I'm up for a new ps3 controller, but more importantly I just wasted a good portion of one of my much anticipated gaming nights, lolololol.

Finished silent hill downpour. Despite some jerky quirky gameplay shit n some massive cunt moments, I think this was def one of the best games in the series. Cool endings too. N cool how u could just go back to the last save point n finish it 3 different ways instead of having to play thru the whole fucking thing again if u wanted to end it differently.

Faaark, been so excited about gaming tonight after a 2 week hiatus. Haven't gamed since I finished silent hill downpour.

So I tried condemned 2 and dead island. Not feeling either of em. I don't like first person games. I might fuck with them one day, but not right now. I'm gonna try saw.

Fuc'n big lolz @ what I'm guessing r supposed to b Aussie accents in dead island. It's hilarious n so fucking ridiculous when american actors try to do Aussie accents. The worst part is they put on this ridiculous Aussie/nz/English accent, but still pronounce words like Americans. It sounds so fucking absurd.

The funniest part was some guy pronouncing hotel as 'hodel'. I had to hear that few thymes before I accepted that it was really happening, lololololollolooll.

In all my thyme of gaming I have NEVER gotten familiar with which button on a ps controller is the square n which is the fucking circle. I have to turn on a light to physically check every fucking thyme. When there's onscreen prompts in a game, to press certain buttons, I have to familiarize myself before attempting it. If it happens suddenly then I've got no fucking hope.

Blinkers r left n right. The left n right buttons on a PS controller I have no problems with. The circle n square have no meaning. I can never remember which is which. The triangle is like an up arrow, up top. The x is like ur main motherfucker, smack in the most accessible location. The square n circle? Well fuck, they could just b anywhere.

Been fucking with saw on ps3. Pretty cool game IMO.
