In the NL, the main three are Chris Carpenter, Dontrelle Willis, and Roger Clemens. most are saying Carpenter, and i believe that he'll probably win, as he has had a spectacular season. Dontrelle's year also warrants praise...but i'd have to give it to Clemens. i mean damn...look at the ERA! its like 1.5! for me, ERA is the best indicator of a pitcher, not wins...with wins, not only ERA is factored in, but run support is to, the latter being something the pitcher has nothing to do with (though that is arguable with the superbly hitting Dontrelle). so i know Carpenter has 20 wins, but if Roger was on St. Louis, he would too. i want someone else to win a Cy for a change, but regrettably i hav to give it to Clemens again.

the AL...it basically comes down to Mark Buerhle and Johan Santana. Santana takes this one..his second half has been ridiculous. Buerhle has emerged this season, though...Bartolo Colon has lots of wins, but Santana's pitching supercedes that of Colon.
