have someone in your crew called papa smurf, and the youngest members in your group are almost 40, and you get NO tv or mass media play, and the majority of your fans download most of the music they listen to, and your artistic director has lost all sense of taste, and you added a new core member who can't stay on beat... and several of your close affiliates have dropped excellent albums that sold almost nothing...

and you are on the cusp of the year 2008 which will again be about glamour and glitz and you are part of a genre of music that is marketed and perceived as disposable by its corporates, critics, and fans alike, and where getting older is seen as a pathetic individual weakness by ppl who somehow think that they are not susceptible to same human process....

you don't start beef with anybody and you stick your head in the sand waiting for the END. WHICH IS NIGH.

what are they supposed to do? shoot 50 Cent??? stomp him out at a show or somethin?

he didn't make some crazy diss song that was all over the radio, he giggled about Gza being born in '66 and then tried to make fun of Deck's Triumph verse and came across sounding mad foolish..

and in that little Gza "response" video, he just humbly re-asserted that he's sayin "50 Cent has no lyrics"...what else is there to say?

you're right that hip hop is all glamour and glitz n will be so again in 2008 but, fuck, the whole world (or at least the United States) is in the same downward spiral...what the fuck else is new???

PS: with all that said, i don't think all the Wu members (and killa beez) or gonna ignore the fact that probably the easiest target out there for skilled emcees to tear apart poked fun at the head of Voltron..
