New York isn't america and Hip Hop is over
The Skulls & Bones Explosion in New York Style
Hip Hop is way over many heads - i agree
so your answer to my question " tell me what you know about New York culture and Hip Hop ?" is.......Nothing - right ?
but i don't see the connection between the clothing makers and the genocide. this is a national trend not just a newyork one and it's a dying one at that. from a fashion insider's perspective its more about the rockstar, mock white folks, vibe. rather than a deeper facination with death. 2008 will be the last of this movement if you are still rocking this type shit by the end of this summer you are either a true punk rocker or you played out.
but to get back to the original train of thought, no is not a scheme to fund genocide.
my point is that its just a fashion trend (like black folks rocking the mohawk) and the majority of designers today puttin that shit out are black americans. yes i'm sure because i go to fashion expos and talk to the companies and designers.
I would not be suprised if there is skull and bones symbiology rampant in america, i see satanic, occult and freemasonic imagery and symbiology all over england....
Bank heist in Kathmandu, it was a slaughter
The day Buddha was born it rained tea instead of water
now that is another issue. idk sometimes i feel like culture is eating its own vomit then then by the time we analyze it here in KTL, we are just watching society's 2girls 1 cup.
i'm sure that people have made observations about the shirts i came out with and were subsequently bootlegged and altered. my point being the original intent was lost in the shuffle and it took on a life of its own. i think the same applies here. it's possible that there is an underlying meaning to the skull trend, and i do believe in the power of symbolism. but at this point.....nah this shit just a fad.
its like if a city never heard of a nazi or hitler and kids wore swastikas. yeah its some nazi shit but they don't know that and it doesn't give power to the nazi party until one of us observes it and makes it so.

^^^exactly my point^^^
by the main culprits of rocking the skulls (my self included) not making the observation of the symbolism, the symbolism does not exist.
