great album from the mid-90's area that seems to have been totally forgotten which is a real shame. the duo consists of legendary producer K-Def and MC Larry-O and besides the bonus remix at the end there is no other featurings than that (Marley Marl drops a beat though).

the album is consistant throughout and has a very thick, bass driven boom-bap sound that will get any fan of that vibe happy, production is definitely worthy of a 5/5 rating. Larry O is definitely aight on the mic but he sure ain't one of the real greats, but still he fit the beats. PLEASE don't sleep on this album!

    Music: 10/10
    Lyrics: 8/10
    Overall: 9/10

musically, a 4. overall probably a 3, Larry O wasnt the guy to carry an album. if Real Live was a collective of 3-4 guys i think it would have been better, the beats were good tho. Marley had 1 or 2 and Def brought some really hard hitting tracks

speaking of K Def theres a new interview with him on hiphopgame
poppa large, big shot on the east coast..

I brought this albumt he day it came out. I remember this dude who was a year ahead of me in school worked at Strawberry's the record store back then and told me to cop it.

I still listen to a couple of tracks off the album which are on my Ipod. I give it 7.5/10. Solid production though the rhymes were pretty weak. Wouldn't mind hearing something new from these two since it's been like 12 years, but apparently K-Def has vowed he would never work with Larry-O again.
