The version cited at Snopes.com also concludes with an untrue joke item: "A month before Lincoln was assassinated he was in Monroe, Maryland; a month before Kennedy was assassinated he was in Marilyn Monroe." In fact, Marilyn Monroe died more than a year before Kennedy was killed.
