When I feel it's time to GET DOWN FOR MY CROWN, and accordingly try to open my Cubase SX program, I get this error message...
Can anybody offer any advice on how to overcome this obstacle?

Was it working before?
Did you try connecting a valid protection device?
I used to use it, then it fucked up and I deleted it and downloaded it again. Unfortunately I can't recall for certain whether it's worked since I dl'ed it again. I think it has though. I haven't got down for minez in so long that I can't be sure.
I have no fucken idea what it means by a "valid protection device". Can you shed any light on that?
i use sx..
i believe the protection device would be the "dongle" that was initially provided when u purchased cubase..
the "dongle" plugs in2 usb..
hope that helps if not let me knw more bout ur interface ..etc..
Cubase has given me more problems that any other program iv ever had
Gave up on it looong ago
ive been using it since 03 an have not had a problem using it when i got it up an running..
which did take round 4 good months..
if u have any q's 11th def holla..or any1 else 4 that matter..
bong bong
you need a patch to get around that
l
Is a patch the same as a crack?
battle, I didn't get a dongle because I only dl'ed it. Some people seem to find it unforgivable that I dl'ed it, but the fact of the matter is that I only use it for the most simple of editing procedures and would be insane to actually buy it for this reason.
I actually just did a full album using only Audacity and Kristal, but it still wouldn't hurt to get Cubase up and running.
yeah - something like that -
forget cubase anyway man
use sonar - much better, less problems
I think I had Sonar at one point. I went through all my install files recently and couldn't find the motherfucker. Maybe I'll look again.
sonar 8 is out right now
audacity is highly underrated.
nice program IMO
