The change happens in the diversity and occasional 'mutation' of a gene. Not always having to be a mutation though. Certain gene traits are built in as standard from many previous specie forms from millions of years ago.

There is a reason that animals are not white.

if you shave any mammal, it has the exact same skin color as white people. many with tans.

no animal is brown. so since that is rare (and there are more white ppl in the world then black ppl-fact) then it would be unnatural to be black being that no other living thing has as much melanin as black humans.

anyways, this genetic difference is not a disease as you cannot match it's orgin with the definition of disease.

i would like for you to know there are full blooded black ppl with lighter skin then alot of full blooded white ppl and that various groups of black ppl have varying amounts of melanin (which i really dont know why this enzyme is the focal point of an entire subforum)
