All Al Pacino does now is shout....Devils Ad, Any Given Sunday, etc....

Anyway, Dog Day Afternoon is a brilliant performance.

But I'm going to give it to the combined performances of Godfather 1 and 2. The transition from the beggining of the first to the end of the second is next level ish.

He is probably my favorite actor of all time and I've never seen him give a bad performance (but then I haven't seen all his flicks). My choice is The Godfather 3. I'm not sure if thats a controversial opinion since nobody else has said it but I think you'd be tough pressed to find another performance that nuanced and with that much emotion. He really runs the gamut with that one.
